As part of the major events for the celebration of the Province of Palawan’s Baragatan sa Palawan Festival 2017, the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Palawan and the City Government of Puerto Princesa, organized the BIMP-EAGA Tourism and Networking Forum which was held last June 21-22, 2017 at the Skylight Convention Center, Puerto Princesa City. This two-day event was attended by different stakeholders coming from tourism-related private organizations and local government units. Key speakers from Malaysia and other areas of Mindanao were invited to share their knowledge and experiences as well as promote tourism-industry opportunities for Palawan
As the second phase for the said forum, the Mindanao Development Authority, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Palawan, will conduct a BIMP-EAGA Trade Networking Session on November 16, 2017 between the BIMP-EAGA Business Council – Malaysia and private sectors in Palawan. The objective of this meeting is to (I)conduct a dialogue which will establish an avenue for trading between Palawan and Malaysia through the Brooke’s Point Port and Buliluyan Port, (II) presentation of major goods that you may import to Palawan and we can export in Malaysia and (III) present Mineleks Trading, the private sector who has a capacity to push import and export because of their complete papers and available ship which can process its own Special permit for international voyage.
In view of this, I respectfully and cordially invite stakeholders from your group to attend the BIMP-EAGA Trade Networking Session on November 16, 2017 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. You will be informed of the specific venue as soon as possible once it has been settle through a formal invitation that we will forward within this week.
